While playing for the Blue Bulls, Danie started marketing Bellpost Wines, breaking the ground and giving Bellpost Wines good publicity, therefor Bellpost is well known in Gauteng. After playing for the Blue Bulls, Danie signed up with Montpellier, and now with USAP rugby club in Perpignan, representing Bellpost Wines in France. Danie is not only an ambassador for Bellpost Wines, Danie is also an ambassador for South Africa, inviting major overseas players to visit South Africa. With a successful rugby career playing for teams like the Springbok u21s, Super 14 and Top 14 teams, in the southern and northern hemisphere. The Blue Bulls won the Super 14 in 2007, becoming Super 14 champions. Montpellier reached the Top 14 finals, becoming the Championship runners-up in 2011.
